Chris Paul x Hook & Albert

In the Fall of 2018, we were lucky enough to work a deal with legendary NBA star Chris Paul to collaborate on a line with him. At this time it was NBA players that were constantly gracing the cover of GQ for their fashion-forward style and pizazz. To launch the collection I flew out to L.A. to shoot the creative. I had never shot a high-profile client before, and the night before the shoot, Chris found out he had been traded to the Houston Rockets for a record-breaking contract. It was an eventful day, to say the least.

Fast forward a month later, and our launch made the front cover of WWD. We also secured exclusive placements in select Saks Fifth Avenues. The collection sold out in just a short month and was incredibly beneficial in launching Hook & Albert into the brand it is today. Chris was as kind as ever, and it was truly a joy to work with him.
